Enter online at www.olf.horsespot.net
HORSE REGISTRATION / MEASUREMENTS / MEMBERSHIP CREDENTIALS
a) All horses and ponies competing in UDJC licensed shows must be registered with UDJC. The animal’s registration number must be provided.
b) All animals entered in classes restricted to ponies must have been officially measured at a licensed competition and be in possession of a valid pony passport. Animals that need to be measured to compete must set up a measurement session with the show office and UDJC steward. Measurement times and location will be provided when scheduled.
CLOSING DATE
Entries are due by Monday, June 30th, 2025. Post entries and entries for new or different horses made after that date will incur the one-time late fee of $50.00
SHOW OFFICE
The show office will be open one day before the competition starts and each competition day will open 1 hour before the earliest start time for rings. Please utilize Horsespot.net to add/scratch classes.
HEAD NUMBERS
Head numbers must be worn in all competition rings. UDJC does not supply head/competition numbers. You can purchase a reusable/adjustable head number in the fee section of the entry process or in the show office. But you can also bring your own adjustable head numbers.
ADDS / SCRATCHES
All add-on's must be completed online or in the show office. Add-on's will be accepted in case there are spots available in the class.
ENTRY CANCELLATION/WITHDRAW
Entries may be cancelled and withdrawn only in writing prior to or on the closing date. Cancellations made prior to or on the closing date will receive refunds of 100% class fees but no stabling fees and other fees. Further refund consideration due to extreme veterinary or medical emergency situations will be at the sole discretion of the organizer. Original veterinary/medical doctor’s certificate must be furnished to the secretary within ten (10) days of cancellation.
SETTLEMENT OF ACCOUNTS
All show accounts must be closed out at the end of each show. Any open entry accounts will be closed by management and a $50.00 processing fee will be added to that entry. All questions about accounts must be addressed within 48 hours of the conclusion of the show. Any mistakes or questions regarding your account and/or prize money must be resolved within that 48-hour time frame.
NON-NEGOTIABLE CHECKS
A $50.00 service fee or 10% of the check amount plus expenses incurred to collect fees - whichever is greater will be charged for all returned checks. Credit card payments that are “charged back” will also incur the same fees and possibly end up preventing the acceptance of future entries.
STABLING
Stabling will be available at a cost of $100.00 per weekend and the purchase of 2 bags of shavings is mandatory.
Shavings have to be purchased from show management.
Stalls will be available to move in at 10:00am on July 11th unless prior arrangements have been made. Stalls must be returned in the same condition upon move out, meaning all nails, hooks etc must be removed from stalls upon move out. No sharing of stalls is allowed. Stalls can NOT be resold without the show organizer’s approval. Each horse will be charged a stall fee.
Shavings are available for purchase during the entry process or on the show grounds between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. Hay will be available for purchase on the show grounds. Cut off time for same day delivery of hay/shavings is 4:00 PM each day. Hay that has been delivered can not be returned. Shavings can only be returned on the day of move in.
GARBAGE DISPOSAL
All trash must be disposed of in proper receptacles. No garbage is to be dumped in the manure bins. Violators will be charged a $ 500.00 fine.
VACCINATION RULE
Horses entering the showgrounds must be accompanied by documentation of Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus vaccination within 6 months prior to entering the grounds. Without proper documentation, horses will not be allowed to enter showgrounds.
HEALTH CERTIFICATES / COGGINS TESTS
Oaklawn Farm requires that each horse be accompanied by a negative EIA (Coggins) test certificate dated within 1 year. Horses coming to the showgrounds from out of state require a health certificate dated within 21 days of arrival to be presented when entering the show grounds or sent to the office.
SCHOOLING
Rings can be used on Friday (weather dependent) for schooling during warm up classes and clinics. The Dressage Arena can be used on Friday outside the clinic hours for schooling. Between Saturday and Sunday only the warm up areas can be used for schooling.
ATTIRE AND HEADGEAR
All riders must be properly attired. Consult the UDJC rule book and equipment catalog for details on attire. Protective head gear must be worn by all riders, at all times while mounted anywhere and anytime on the showgrounds. Headgear for all riders must meet or exceed ASTM Standards and must carry the SEI tag. All headgear must be properly secured by its harness. If unsure that your helmet is properly secured or properly approved, please check with a UDJC steward.
COURSES
Courses will be posted a minimum of one hour prior to each class. Each jumping course can be walked before the start of the class.
CHANGES / CANCELLATIONS / COMBINING OF SECTIONS
Management reserves the right to change, cancel or combine classes and/or sections, alter courses and do all things necessary to comply with UDJC rules and to compensate for excessive or inadequate entries.
RIBBONS / PRIZE MONEY
All riders who are placed in a class have to attend the award ceremony, otherwise they won't be eligible for placings, ribbons and prize money. Prize money won will be deducted from each horse’s account or paid by check in case the amount exceeds the entry fees. Prize money will be paid out only if 6 or more horses compete in a prize money eligible class. An IRS W-9 form must be completed in full before any prize money can be paid. Prize money will be withheld if the recipient’s Social Security or EIN number is not provided. Prize money will be credited to the Owner unless an alternate payee and its information (W-9) are provided. All prize money will be paid within 30 days of the show’s conclusion. Any unprocessed prize money or refund checks outstanding three months after issuance date will be forfeited after 90 days.
DOGS
Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise contained. Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from their dogs’ behaviors. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to a $100 fine per incident.
