The UDJC Jackpot Series
How It Works
The Jackpot Series runs across five qualifiers held at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center:
-
Back from Summer Show, September - Saturday & Sunday
-
Hello Fall Show, October - Saturday & Sunday
-
This Time of Year Show, December - Saturday only
All qualifiers are regular jumper classes with an optional $100 Jackpot Add-On.
That fee goes directly into the prize pot for the final - and it all gets paid out in December.
The Divisions
There are three height-based divisions:
-
85cm
-
1.00m
-
1.15m
You can enter one or two divisions and the more qualifiers you enter, the bigger your payout potential.
The Final
The Jackpot Final takes place on Sunday at the This Time of Year - December Show:
-
85cm Style round
-
1.00m Jump Off
-
1.15m Jump Off
This is where it all comes together - top riders, a full prize pot, and the chance to wrap your season with a big win.
The Payout System
To compete in the Final, you must have ridden at least 3 qualifiers in that division.
Your share of earned prize money is based on your participation:
-
3 qualifiers → 60% payout
-
4 qualifiers → 80% payout
-
5 qualifiers → 100% payout
Note: The top 6 places will receive a share of the jackpot and only non-professionals are eligible to participate in the Jackpot Series.
Jackpot Payout Structure:
1st: 30%
2nd: 22%
3rd: 17%
4th: 13%
5th: 10%
6th: 8%
Example Calculation:
If the jackpot totals $10,000 and you place 3rd in the Final, your full payout would be $1,700 (17% of the pot) if you rode all five qualifiers.
If you only competed in three qualifiers, you would receive 60% of your eligible payout, which equals $1,020.
